The 1st
International Christian Medical Conference on Divine Healing Held in Seoul, Korea in 2004
With the
Subject of Spirituality and Medicine
- Medical Doctors Confirm Divine
Healing cases with Medical Evidence -
WCDN (Honorary
Chairman: John Youl Chun, former president of association of deans of medical
colleges, Seoul) held the conference at the college of medicine, Yonsei University, Seoul on May 15.
After Chairman Dr. Hwang gave a presentation of
spirituality and medicine in the opening symposium, Dr. Chun, former director
of FICS (Fellow – International College of Surgeons), moderated presentations
of radiologists and surgeons on the divine healing cases of herniated nucleus
pulposus with degeneration, pneumothorax, gastric cancer, deafness and
dumbness, etc. Such case studies showed
concrete medical data.
In overseas healing session, Dr. Paul Ponraj,
senior consultant cardiothoracic surgeon, Chennai, India, gave a dramatic presentation with angiograms. When his patient who had coronary artery
bypass surgery was dying of vascular spasm of unknown cause, he prayed with the
handkerchief prayed on by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee like in Acts 19:12. Suddenly the
patient’s cardiac function normalized.
He recovered without any complication.
An excellent surgeon Dr. Chun, Medical consultant
of Fuzhi Hospital, Missionary Institute, Yanbian University, China, attributed the 100% survival rate among those who underwent the operation
for liver cirrhosis to God’s help through prayer.
A Pakistani Sheikh Abdul Azad said he was certain
of God’s power because he saw scientific evidence instead of guess of healing.
Pastor Wilson John Gill from Pakistan voluntarily gave testimony of his daughter Synthia whose doctor said she
was nearly hopless. Dying Synthia in Pakistan began to recover at that very hour that Rev. Dr. Lee prayed on her photo
in Korea
This conference was webcast live. Many Christian doctors and nurses regardless
of denominations watched this conference and were surprised at biblical
miracles occurring, today in the same way as in Jesus’ day.
